Let's imagine that you are very passionate about movies and you have a large collection of movies stored on your computer. In this situation, it may be really difficult to organize all your movies and to find a certain one. In this case, you will need to catalog your collection using a specialized application. By doing so, you will be able to quickly find any title and to play it in the shortest time possible. An application which can help you do just that is MovieManager.

Having an intuitive name, this Windows application allows you to catalog and organize your entire movie collection, offering you the possibility of playing any title using a single mouse click. After installing the program, the user will notice a graphical interface which includes some sample movies. At this point, one can modify the movies and can add the path to the actual video file, or he can add new movies, using the IMDB database.

When downloading movie information from IMDB, the cover of the movie is also displayed. Basically, in order to add a movie in his collection, the user just needs to type its name and point to the location where the movie file is located on his hard disk. An unlimited number of movies can be added to the program's database. What's more, several databases can be added into MovieManager, each containing a set of movies.

In case the user would like to edit or print his movie collection, he can easily export it into the CSV format and then open it with compatible applications, for example, Microsoft Excel. What's more, MovieManager allows generating and publishing the movie collection to an HTML file, which can be published online, using any regular FTP client.

Pros

It allows you to catalog and organize your movie collection, by importing titles from the IMDB movie database. Besides that, movies can be played directly from the application. Furthermore, the movie database can be exported to a CSV file, for editing it in compatible applications. What's more, movie collections can be exported to HTML files, which can be published online, using any FTP client.

Cons

The interface seems a bit difficult to use and understand, having a large number of options available. MovieManager allows you to organize and manage your entire movie collection with ease.
